"Hey, I'm Joy. I loved your dancing in class. Are you performing in the showcase tonight?" I ask the young man sitting on the lobby floor.

"Thanks, I'm Brian. No, I should be performing, but lyme's disease has totally messed up my ankle. I've been to my doctor and the emergency room for the pain and swelling. I'm going to the hospital again and ask them to admit me", he responds.

"I am sorry for your suffering. Can I pray for you?," I inquire.

"What?," his face echoes surprise as he pauses. "Well, actually, I'm a Wiccan."

"Well, can I pray for you?," I persist.

"Yeh, I guess so. I guess it couldn't hurt more."

I get on my knees and and put my hands around Brian's ankle. "Perfect Love, please heal this ankle. I speak shalom, complete wholeness. Pain go. Love come. Love hold this ankle, support it and reduce the swelling. Bring joy back to these feet."

I look up. "Feel any difference?"

"I'm okay. It's actually a little better," Brian replies. "I mean, I just can't believe you did that. That is the best thing anybody has done this whole time. I can't believe you did that. Thank you."

"You are welcome. You are so loved Brian. I won't stop praying for you. The world needs your dancing feet."

"Thanks again," he whispers as he looks away to brush his eyes.

I don't know if Brian's ankle is better today but I know he encountered Love. ... it's so easy. Everyone needs Love, including me. Today I am free to dance. Today, I am free to be Loved and to be Love. I wonder who will be the next person to join me in the healing flow of Love's dance today?
