"ALLOWING PEACE TO GUARD MY HEART AND MIND"
"Choosing to BE IN PEACE"
I need to say the beauty inadequately captured in this photo was not my feeling as I headed out the door for a walk. In fact, my emotional experience at that moment was far from up lifting. Even breathing was a laborious choice.
Somehow during the day I had accumulated a lot of heart caring weight and I was overwhelmed with the presence of seemingly impossibles for myself and others. I walked out the door and before I left my driveway I lifted my eyes and wept. Body shaking tears rumbled through my frame. I looked up and knew that Love had written glorious dramatic love letters in the sky for me.
I simply walked and surveyed the sky. Something about looking up at the sky enlarges my focus reminding me - God is so much bigger than I can think. God is good. God unstoppably, inescapably, unfailingly loves me. And viewing these beautiful clouds in the changing light reminded me I am not alone. I am seen, hear, witnessed.
So I said thank you in tears and just let living Peace become the center of my experience. I inhaled Sprit breath deeply. I exhaled all else slowly. I surrendered all in awe to Peace. I cannot control my circumstances but I can always BE IN PEACE.
PEACE is a journey.
PEACE is a choice.
PEACE is always an option for me because PEACE is a living One Who always is the One in which I live and move and have my being. I choose to BE aware of and present IN PEACE always.
I AM ....
'Steppin' INto PEACE
Wholely Holy BEyond LOVE, I am Steppin' IN through YOU.'
Today no matter our circumstances, let us be led forth IN PEACE. Please join me in choosing to remain and abide IN our living One, Who is Peace, in Whom we live and move and have our peaceful BEING. Today, I say yes, I will let Peace guard my heart and mind.
